여가공간으로서 동해안 해수욕장 이용자의 지각된 가치와 지속가능성 및 뉴 환경 패러다임과의 관계
본 연구는 여가공간으로서 동해안 해수욕장 이용자의 지각된 가치와 지속가능성 및 뉴 환경 패러다임의 관계를 규명하는데 있었다. 연구대상은 278명이었으며, 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 AMOS 26.0버전 을 이용하였으며, 가설검증을 위한 통계기법으로 구조방정식모형분석(structural equation model: SEM)을 사용하 였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같이 요약되었다. 우선 연구모형의 적합도는 χ²=140.1(p<.001), TLI=.900, IFI=.934, RMR=.067, NFI=.917, CFI=.934로 나타났다. 그리고 각 가설에 대한 검증결과 첫째, 해수욕장 이용자의 지각된 가치는 지속가능성에 정적 영양을 미친다. 둘째, 해수욕장 이용자의 지속가능성은 뉴 환경 패러다임에 부적 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 해수욕장 이용자의 지각된 가치는 뉴 환경 패러다임에 정적 영향을 미친다. 그리고 모형의 구체적인 인과효과는 직, 간접 적으로 모두 유효하며, 지각된 가치와 뉴 환경 패러다임간에 지속 가능성이 매개변인으로서 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났 다. 이러한 측면에서 후속연구들은 이용자의 특성과 목적 등을 고려하여 뉴 환경 패러다임에 대한 인식의 영향을 더욱 심도 있게 규명해야 할 필요가 있다. 이러한 지속적인 노력은 동해안 해수욕장 뿐만 아니라 우리나라의 전역에 분포된 해수욕장들이 지역사회의 여가공간으로서 지역 레거시 가치를 인정받고 보전되도록 관리하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
The Relationship between the Perceived Value and Sustainability, New Environmental Paradigm of East Coast Beach Users as a Leisure Space
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the perceived value and sustainability and the new environmental paradigm of East Coast beach users as a leisure space. The subjects of the study were 278 people, and data were collected using questionnaires. AMOS version 26.0 was used for data analysis, and structural equation model (SEM) was used as a statistical technique for hypothesis verification. The research results were summarized as follows. First, the perceived value of beach users has a positive effect on sustainability. Second, the sustainability of beach users has a negative impact on the new environmental paradigm. Third, the perceived value of beach users has a positive effect on the new environmental paradigm. In addition, the specific causal effects of the model were effective both directly and indirectly, and sustainability was found to be influential as a mediating variable between the perceived value and the new environment paradigm. In this respect, follow-up studies need to investigate in more depth the impact of awareness of the new environmental paradigm by considering the characteristics and purposes of users. This efforts will contribute to managing not only the East Coast Beach but also beaches distributed throughout Korea to ensure that the local legacy value as a leisure space for the local community.
